The holding rests on thirty-one named sources and nine unnamed, gathered between Year 1 and Year 367. Four of the thirty-one stood on Remnar themselves, all four as small children. Everything else is second hand or further.
This holding documents where it got everything as carefully as it documents the content. Every entry says at the top who told us, when it was recorded, how many tellings back it stands, and what agrees or disagrees with it. Where accounts conflict we keep both and prefer neither.
