The artifacts of Rolara span cultures and epochs: Tatharian relics of empire, elven heirlooms of forgotten kingdoms, objects born from planar convergence, treasures of the Celestial Administration, Jiao-tradition relics of immortals and demons, and items forged by mortal ambition or divine intervention. They are filed here by what each object is, not by where it was found or which power last held it.

Notes on Placement
Several artifacts sit in a bucket their name does not suggest. The Immortal Thrashing Whip and the Key to the Gate of Heaven are described in their own texts as a rod and a cudgel, and are filed with the rods and staves. The Heavenly Upheaval Stamp, shaped like an imperial seal, is called a weapon by the sources and is filed as one. The Universal Ring is worn by no one and is likewise a weapon. Minor Jiao Artifacts is a catalogue of many small relics rather than a single object, and sits among the wondrous items for want of one form to call its own.
Four artifacts are Great Mechanisms of the Age of Wonders, each built by a different civilization around one of the Stars of Power. Only the Demon Forge and the Pedestal are catalogued here; the Porta Ultima and the Grand Elevator are filed under Technology (see Technology INDEX). All four carry the great-mechanism tag.
