Beneath the Gate of Heaven is a floating mass of stellar dust that forms a beautiful nebula cloud and supports walking creaures. The Gate itself is made of gold, adamantine and jade, and can only be opened with a Key to the Gate of Heaven. It leads to the first courtyard of the Palace of Divinity in Mechanus , where Yu Huang oversees the order of the cosmos. Travelers can approach this gate in the Astral Plane . It is visible from the surface of the Prime Material Plane with the proper telescope equipment on a clear night.
