T he Jiao Alliance is a confederation of cities traditionally lead by the King of Jiaohai in defending the northern continent from monsters. Since its formation, it has evolved from an informal monster hunting alliance to a treaty signed by multiple kings. Wars have been fought for and against membership, with the ebb and tide of monsterous incursions. Membership brings trade benefits, mutual defense, and of course monster defense.
In recent decades, King Zhou of Jiaohai appears to be expanding influence and exerting more control over the area. The recent declaration of war from the distant kingdom of Kimokotan threatens the eastern kingdoms. Extenuating the issue is the endless storms flooding the lowlands. The influx of refugees in the highlands and in Jiaohai itself has moved political focus closer to The Secret Sealed City of Heaven .
Disbandment
The Jiao Alliance was a confederation of cities traditionally led by the King of Jiaohai , formed to defend the northern continent from monsters. Over time, it evolved from an informal monster hunting alliance to a treaty signed by multiple kings. Membership in the alliance brought trade benefits, mutual defense, and monster defense. The alliance was characterized by a market economy and the official language was the Jiao Language . The alliance was headed by Lang Wen and the capital was Jiaohai .
With the formation of the New Jiao Empire , the assets of the Jiao Alliance would naturally be absorbed into the new entity. This would include the territories controlled by the alliance, such as Dongjiang Shi and Tun Huang , as well as the economic and defense systems in place. The New Jiao Empire would also inherit the relationships the Jiao Alliance had with neighboring nations like the Encratis-Kang Regime , Ganju , and Kimokotan . The transition from the Jiao Alliance to the New Jiao Empire would likely involve a reorganization of these assets and systems to fit the new political structure.
