Geppetin are construct-like humanoids whose bodies have been rendered doll-like, typically through magical transformation rather than natural birth. The species originates from Valda’s Spire of Secrets, adapted for use in Rolara, and is spelled Geppettin in that source and on D&D Beyond.
Description
A Geppetin’s body resembles a living doll or marionette, composed of materials that vary depending on the nature of the transformation that created them. Despite their construct-like appearance, Geppetin retain their original consciousness and personality. As Construct creature types, they possess certain immunities and vulnerabilities distinct from living humanoids, including resistance to effects that target living tissue.
Known Geppetin in Rolara
Evangeline, a Necromancer Wizard and member of the Girlsquad adventuring party, was transformed into a Geppetin by her mother through a dark ritual in Cresthaven. She seeks to restore her original human body.
