The Master
This Dragon was raised from an egg by an ancient Elder Brain. Nearly 1,000,000 years ago, a Pit Fiend named Scail left a sapphire dragon’s egg on the Moon for the illithids to do with as they saw fit. In secret, the Elder Brain absorbed the dragon and ultimately they fused into one being. This dragon has been the entity secretly influencing the machinations of the mind flayers for untold millenia, and is referred to them fearfully by the title, “The Master”.
