The Maker is the entity who created or commands Copper Azide II and who contracted him to deliver Tenzo Shinoda alive to face justice. The Maker’s true identity, species, and nature are currently unknown. The name is provisional and may change as the campaign progresses.

Known Details

The Maker’s grievances against Shinoda predate the Extinguishment of the Stars, placing the origin of the conflict over fifteen centuries in the past. The Maker awoke after the Reignition to find that their work, whatever it was, had passed through a chain of predecessors into Shinoda’s criminal inventory. The specifics of what was taken, how it was used, and the Maker’s own activities during the intervening Dark Age remain undisclosed.

The Maker wants Shinoda alive. A dead man cannot confess, cannot return, and cannot suffer. The Maker’s brand of justice requires all three. Copper Azide II receives triple the tournament’s prize money and a cleared debt if he delivers Shinoda living. A dead Shinoda pays only the prize equivalent.

Current Status
